Adult Volunteers

Adults make Scouting possible in many ways, including youth program support, administration, events, facilities and Group operations.
Meeting arrangements can occasionally change. Prospective members should contact the Group before their first visit so we can confirm the current program, venue and any special activities. Transition timing between sections can also vary slightly according to the young person and local arrangements.

The same principles throughout

Youth leading. Adult supporting.

As members grow, they progressively take more responsibility for deciding, planning and leading their activities. Adult volunteers provide the safe environment, mentoring and support that lets young people learn by doing.Scouts Queensland section information
